The renowned contemporary textile art triennial 9th EQT arrives in Finland for the first time! Organized by the Max Berk Textile Collection in Heidelberg, the exhibition brings a selection of top-tier European patchwork artworks to the Finlayson area in Tampere. The exhibition is open from January 17th to February 15th, 2026.

The 9th EQT (9th European Quilt Triennial) consists of high-quality modern textile and quilt artworks created in Europe and selected through a juried competition. The jury chose 45 works for the exhibition that opened in Heidelberg in 2025, including the Finnish artists Marita Lappalainen’s piece ‘A House’ and Leena Illukka’s ‘Touch’. During 2025, the 9th EQT has toured in Germany and Switzerland.
